Interning with EY
Major in Information Management & Technology, minors in Psychology and Computer Science
My name is Mysha Fairuz, and I am a rising junior majoring in Information Management and Technology with a concentration in Information Security and a minor in Psychology and Computer Science. I am from Dhaka, Bangladesh, but I moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas, multiple years ago. I love touring and trying out exceptional types of delicacies!
I selected my Launch internship because I wanted to analyze the enterprise and my area of expertise. I accept that professional development is crucial through hands-on experience. Accordingly, I wanted to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone to sign up for EY San Jose’s circle of relatives.
The launch is an eight-week summertime software involving integrated but various studying mixed with sensible work revel in. I could be attending schooling and orientation periods in Dallas earlier than flying out to San Jose to get a practical enjoyment of EY’s hard painting environment. During my rotational software, I may be working with the Core Business Services (CBS) organization, which includes:
- Human Resources and Recruiting
- Marketing
- Center for Business Knowledge
- Finance
- Independence
- Enterprise Support Services (ESS)
- Information Technology
- Business Development
Also, I can shadow Ernst & Young specialists serving our customers in assurance, advisory, and tax practices. I will have the opportunity to connect and talk with mentors and attend workshops to hone my abilties as an intern. Lastly, I might be able to revel in community career occasions that EY partakes in at some point during my internship.

Interning with Urban Outfitters
Major in Information Management & Technology with a minor in Marketing
Hi there! I’m a rising senior in the School of Information Studies, studying Information Management & Technology with a minor in Marketing. I am a Technology Consultant at Information Technology Services and a peer advisor at Syracuse.
I’m from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, but I relocated to Philadelphia this summer to intern for URBN as a Software Engineer Summer Associate. URBN is a group of worldwide patron brands that includes Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, BHLDN, Terrain, and the Vetri Family.
Over the next ten weeks, I’ll be working on URBN’s Web crew within their Information Technology branch. In this function, I aim to reinforce my technical verbal exchange. I look forward to working in a canine-friendly workplace and attempting to find the best cheesesteak.
