NISE was selected from among more than 1,500 nominations, which were evaluated via an impartial panel of edtech enterprise experts. Through its research-primarily based professional development applications, NISE focuses on high-impact STEM instructional strategies that work synergistically throughout content regions in PreK-12 classrooms. In addition to onsite, custom-designed expert improvement, NISE offers low-priced, evidence-primarily based online answers for educators. These encompass the National Certificate for STEM Teaching (NCST) Mic,ro Certificates for educators, and the National Certificate for STEM Excellence (NCSE) for school campuses.
“We’re pleased to be recognized for our work in providing educators with expert development that is research-based, personalized, and currently applicable to their classrooms,” said Judy Zimny, Ed.D., vice chairman of NISE. “It’s been noticeably rewarding to see peer teachers decorate their STEM teaching and develop as STEM leaders and to see campuses remodel their cultures and raise pupil achievement.”
More than 2,000 educators have participated in the NCST, and almost 1,000 have completed the program to this point. Also, about 50 percent of NCST graduates have enrolled in graduate STEM programs in NISE’s associate university, the American College of Education.

WOULD YOU CONSIDER AN ONLINE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM?
With the current challenges facing traditional colleges and universities, which include higher tuition, budget cuts, and course shortages, many students and those who love learning have switched to online educational programs. With nearly three million students enrolled in fully online degree programs and eight million taking at least one online course as part of their degree program, online education has become one of the most popular higher education alternatives.
The continually improving reputation of online learning has also helped fuel its expansion, as initial skepticism has faltered in the face of evidence that online learning can be just as effective as face-to-face education. I have taken several, and the experience is unique as these programs are entirely convenient and flexible. They provide educational information that will build your business immediately. You will be surprised that some of these online courses are FREE! The emphasis, however, on taking free courses online is the personal knowledge obtained. However, the certificates received in some cases are not from accredited educational institutes.
