The International Labour Organization (ILO) released the World Day Against Child Labour in 2002 to raise awareness of the global extent of child labor. Action and effort were needed to get rid of it. Every 12 months on 12 June, World Day brings together governments, employers and employee agencies, civil society, and tens of millions of humans from around the world to highlight the plight of toddler laborers and what may be done to assist them. But before we talk about the circumstances of toddler labor, let us know what it is.

Not all work achieved via kids should be categorized as baby labor that is to be targeted for elimination. Children’s or teens’ participation in work that does not affect their health and personal improvement or intervene with their schooling is normally seen as fantastic.

1. All kinds of slavery or practices similar to slavery, including the sale and trafficking of kids, debt bondage, and pressured or obligatory labor, together with forced or compulsory recruitment of youngsters for use in armed struggle.

2. The use, shopping, or offering of a toddler for prostitution for the production of pornography or pornographic performances.

3. The use, purchasing, or providing of a child for illicit sports, mainly for the production and trafficking of medicine, as defined in the applicable global treaties.

4. Work that, by its nature or the occasions on which it is completed, will probably harm kids’ health, safety, or morals.

Children shouldn’t paint in fields, however, on dreams. Children shouldn’t work in fields but on desires! These days, 152 million kids are nevertheless in toddler labor. Although toddler labor occurs in nearly every area, seven of every ten are in agriculture.

The grim reality of youngsters in India

Child labor in Indian states

Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh also have about 38 percent of infant laborers as illiterate.
